Her practice explores the space between reality and imagination through layered compositions of line, organic forms, and vibrant colours. Central to her work is the line itself, which functions simultaneously as structure and freedom, shaping dreamlike worlds where the tangible and the symbolic coexist. Zoe incorporates decorative motifs inspired by the Greco-Roman tradition and Eastern philosophies, blending classical and spiritual symbolism to create a sense of harmony and outline an aesthetic of escapism. This interplay between the real and the imagined invites the viewer to engage with the work not just as a visual experience, but as a moment of contemplation. A recurring focus of her practice is the female body, which she considers the purest expression of art itself. With a strong use of color and a wide array of themes, many adventures have been captured in illustrations, comics, and paintings.Following his studies at KABK (Interior Architecture and Furniture Design) in The Hague, Tim expanded his artistic practice to encompass various media, focusing on illustration, photography, and objects. In his current work, Tim primarily explores the relationship between society and technology, examining how social behavior is transformed. While I love drawing pretty pictures since childhood, visual communication is also a form of problem solving that I take on with each individual client. Doing research is a big part of my craft. I believe illustration is an important field in a growing visual world. With my work I aim to contribute to the future of storytelling in a positive way, with fair representation. Inspiration comes from a fascination for pop culture and an interest in politics, science, (intersectional) feminism and human behavior. Feel free to contact me for illustrations, artwork, storytelling and portraits or to talk about the latest episode of your favorite show! <img width="1500" height="2023" width_o="1500" height_o="2023" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/e13b64025e5640a1c410a10254976de51659ae77acdef128f91187b068a13df1/01gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914491" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/e13b64025e5640a1c410a10254976de51659ae77acdef128f91187b068a13df1/01gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="2024" width_o="1500" height_o="2024" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/cc2f83a7c81aa0b0f5d87716d178238fbe0bab0e1e777f6ba37e9d1b6e39f504/02gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914492" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/cc2f83a7c81aa0b0f5d87716d178238fbe0bab0e1e777f6ba37e9d1b6e39f504/02gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="1817" width_o="1500" height_o="1817" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/c2647b9abf5adfa567c2383d3aa3e8085f53171fe4a8e2d40c43b4adbc961704/03gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914493" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/c2647b9abf5adfa567c2383d3aa3e8085f53171fe4a8e2d40c43b4adbc961704/03gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="2055" width_o="1500" height_o="2055" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/e53200c431702e4cade85f991f44bf2112ce9d8232bfb1062ec1056491d32f08/04gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914494" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/e53200c431702e4cade85f991f44bf2112ce9d8232bfb1062ec1056491d32f08/04gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="1963" width_o="1500" height_o="1963" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/c8eae9ee3c64d05a9c4686c5e6cd5c8d66e74be514121acced17ef77ead807fc/05gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914495" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/c8eae9ee3c64d05a9c4686c5e6cd5c8d66e74be514121acced17ef77ead807fc/05gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="1963" width_o="1500" height_o="1963" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/383cd02b3bba8e4e5f5722820a9b344392d275a712735cd0de414ff90bf2d324/06gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914497" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/383cd02b3bba8e4e5f5722820a9b344392d275a712735cd0de414ff90bf2d324/06gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="2068" width_o="1500" height_o="2068" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/238e2a1b07c44e3a4ddfd72fa7eef6f025a83efb91728685e01ed8b6b1cf5600/07gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914498" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/238e2a1b07c44e3a4ddfd72fa7eef6f025a83efb91728685e01ed8b6b1cf5600/07gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="1500" width_o="1500" height_o="1500" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/46d7db64398888d0052d7ac77743ab27ac4426787a4aeda9aac25c44e716d064/08gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914499" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/46d7db64398888d0052d7ac77743ab27ac4426787a4aeda9aac25c44e716d064/08gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="907" width_o="1500" height_o="907" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/3b9b915824b6f19359541887fa9efa565f22741730dd17e5c3ac8e2fd1c4d9d9/09gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914500" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/3b9b915824b6f19359541887fa9efa565f22741730dd17e5c3ac8e2fd1c4d9d9/09gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /><img width="1500" height="984" width_o="1500" height_o="984" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/7407067b6d3af773e3971744d2d29adcb8a98cf41fdc63b023b771d612a72460/10gallery_Robin_Duister.png" data-mid="113914501" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/7407067b6d3af773e3971744d2d29adcb8a98cf41fdc63b023b771d612a72460/10gallery_Robin_Duister.png" /> branding criticalthinking dialogue drawingworkshops editorialillustration education exhibition fineart girlpower graphicdesign murals politics portrait posterdesign printmaking psychology social textiledesign visualpoetry workshops https://rotterdamillustrators.nl/Soyeon-Lee Thu, 15 Jul 2021 14:17:14 +0000 Rotterdam Illustrators https://rotterdamillustrators.nl/Soyeon-Lee Soyeon Lee www.drawsoso.com info.drawsoso@gmail.com @draw_soso Soyeon Lee / Draw Soso is a freelance illustrator based in Rotterdam and Seoul, South Korea.
