Leendert Jacob is a designer based in Rotterdam, and a graduate from the Willem de Kooning academy in illustration with an honours degree. In his work, simplicity and readability are key. Leenderts personal interests — which may or may not be reflected in his work — are contemporary visual culture, digital culture, fashion and psychology. These subjects reach beyond only illustration, for example, he presented a research regarding digital meme culture during the American elections in 2019 at the Design Museum Den Bosch.
