Egon de Regt is an illustrator, animator, painter and art director. As a draughtsman he is capable of visualising ideas but also quickly capturing real life situations. With his studio in the heart of the Rotterdam he gets his inspiration from the city around him. A recurring theme in his work is a sense of humanity within an increasingly urbanised, digitalised and automated world. His visual aesthetic leans heavily towards the clear line (klare lijn) style of drawing. But he easily shifts to other visual styles depending on what fits the project.
