My name is Ana Stretcu. I’m a picture book illustrator who loves to flip stereotypes like pancakes and create worlds where every child feels seen and loved. When I’m not telling stories with with a strong aww-factor, you can find me drawing on windows, burying my nose in a book or trying to befriend every dog I see.

After trying to do the grown-up thing and live "a serious life", I'm now fully committed to embracing the cute, the wholesome, the goofy and last but not least, the silly things in life because I believe they're a source of infinite joy and I draw because I want to share that with as many people as I can.

- I believe stereotypes are harmful and stupid.
- I believe the fact that we're all different is what makes life interesting and amazing and I want to capture that in my work.
- I believe every child should be able to see characters that look like them in the books they enjoy.
- I believe in the power of stories and how they can make the world a better place.
